Box 388 • Stockton, CA 952 CO38() <br />209/468-3420 <br />January 24, 1997 <br />Mr. Tom Horton, Integrated Waste Manager <br />San Joaquin County Department of Public Works <br />Solid Waste Division <br />Post Office Box 1810 <br />Stockton, California 95201 <br />RE: Request for Waiver of Permit Conditions and State Minimum <br />Standards for San Joaquin County Solid Waste Facilities <br />Due to Flood Emergency <br />Lovelace Materials Recovery Facility and Transfer <br />Station (39 -AA -0008) <br />North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill <br />(39 -AA -0022) <br />Foothill Sanitary Landfill (39 -AA -0004) <br />The Environmental Health Division, as the Local Enforcement <br />Agency (LEA) for San Joaquin County, has reviewed your revised <br />waiver request, dated January 21, 1997, for Lovelace Materials <br />Recovery Facility and Transfer Station, North County Recycling <br />Center and Sanitary Landfill, and Foothill Sanitary Landfill. <br />Your request for a waiver of permit conditions and State Minimum <br />Standards listed at the above facilities is hereby granted as <br />allowed by California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 14, <br />Section 17210. The waiver applies only to those items listed in <br />the revised waiver request and shall be effective for no more <br />than 120 days.
