UP-93-2 <br /> can be obtained from the Environmental Health Division. A $156.00 Plan check fee is <br /> required at the time of submittal. <br /> i. If hazardous material is stored on the site, the applicant Must register with the County <br /> Office of Emergency Services. <br /> 4. BUILDING INSPECTION DIVISION: <br /> a. The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance requirements <br /> will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to <br /> the Building Inspection Division: <br /> (1) Exterior walls less than 20 feet from a property line shall be constructed of one- <br /> hour fire-resistive material. <br /> (2) The proposed building shall be provided With an automatic fire sprinkler system <br /> or divided into areas less than 6,000 square feet by area separation walls. <br /> (3) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements. (CCR,Title <br /> 24)- <br /> (4) The proposed transfer building exceeds the allowable floor area permitted by the <br /> Uniform Building Code for a B-2 occupancy. The building shall be provided with <br /> an automatic fire sprinkler system and have minimum 60-foot yards on all sides. <br /> (5) All recommendations of the soils engineer that were included in the soils report <br /> shall be incorporated in the construction drawings. <br /> (6) Provide a copy of the Soils Report to the Building Inspection Division. <br /> b. A grading plan shall be submitted by the applicant, and it shall be approved and a <br /> grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Dtvlson prior to any excavation or filling <br /> of earth material: <br /> (1) The grading plan shall contain the information listed in the UBC, Appendb; <br /> Chapter 70, Section 7006(1). <br /> (2) The grading plan shall include complete drainage details and elevations of the <br /> adjacent parcels. Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. <br /> (3) Grading In excess of 5,000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for <br /> "Engineered Grading Requirements.* <br /> (4) All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading <br /> plan. <br /> (5) All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation inspection. <br /> -5- <br />
