Since the transfer <br /> and sorting facility are under a roof,the runoff from the facility should not contain <br /> leachate from the waste disposal operatiorL <br /> Findino .• <br /> Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project <br /> which avoid or substantially kmwn the significant environmental effect as <br /> identified in the Final EIFL <br /> Statement of Fact: <br /> The impact will be reduced by ft following: <br /> Sample and test the retention pond water annually if required by the Central <br /> Valley Regional Water Qd. <br /> (2) POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT IMPACT. EXPOSURE OF OLD LANDFILL DURING <br /> CONSTRUCTION <br /> An old landfill is known to exist along a portion of the northern site boundary. It <br /> is planned to excavate this material and dispose of it off the site. <br /> Finding: <br /> Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project <br /> which avoid or substantially lessm the sigrifficant environmental effect as <br /> ideriffied in the Final EIFL The midgation measure is listed below. <br /> Statement of Fact: <br /> The impact wil be reduced by this following: <br /> The cut slope of the excavation area shad not exceed 2 feet horizordal to I foot <br /> vertical (2:1). An exowated material should be disposed of at a county landfill. <br /> IMPACTS WHICH ARE NOT MMGATED To LESS THAN SIGNIRCANT LEVELS <br /> According to the FEIR,there are no prqGcNalated Impacts that cannot be mitigated to less than <br /> significant levels. <br /> Attachment A . 10- UP-93-2 <br />
