He contacted the fire department and
they put out the fire around 7:15 a.m. Fortunately, it was a small fire and it didn't cause
any property damage. Manuel, Maria, and Luis Navarro did a good job of managing the
incident. The general public, commercial customers, and employees weren't let in the
building until the Fire Chief gave the green light which happened about 7:20 a.m. Other
than holding a couple of general public customers and one (1) WM truck at the front
gate, the fire didn't disrupt daily operations.
Manuel, since Billy was off today, called me and I went to Lovelace to help out. Manuel
will complete and Incident Report and log the incident in the Special Occurrence Log. At
this time, the cause of the fire is unknown; however, Billy will review video footage and
go from there. In addition, I notified Jesse @ Foothill to inform him that our transfer
trucks were starting a little late; therefore, that the trucks would run up to 4:00 p.m.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thank you.
Jaime L.
