EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
TABLE S-1 (Continued)
SUMMARY OF IMPACTS AND MITIGATION MEASURES
LEVEL OF SIGNIFICANCE
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT MITIGATION MEASURES AFTER MITIGATION
H dy rology and Water Quality(continued) Mitigation Measures Identified in This Report
F.1: Since the project construction would cover an area
greater than five acres,a Storm Water Pollution Prevention
Plan would be developed as required by the Regional Board
under the NPDES General Permit for Discharges of Storm
Water Associated with Construction Activity. Prior to the
start of construction,a SWPPP shall be prepared to address
water quality impacts associated with construction of project
facilities and roadways. The project sponsor shall
incorporate into contract specifications the requirement that
the contractor complies with and implements the provisions
of the SWPPP. The objectives of the SWPPP are to identify
pollutant sources that could affect the quality of stormwater
discharge,to implement control practices to reduce
pollutants in stormwater discharges, and to protect receiving
water quality.
F.2: The proposed project would create additional nonpoint Mitigation Measures Proposed as Part of the Project Less than Significant
source pollution that may enter stormwater runoff and be None.
discharged from the site during operation of the proposed
facilities. (Significant)
Mitigation Measures Identified in This Report
F.2: The NPDES-required Storm Water Pollution
Prevention Plan currently in use at the site will be updated to
reflect changes to the facility. Changes made to the SWPPP
will be implemented accordingly and may include, but will
not be limited to,the following changes to the stormwater
collection and treatment system:
Stnrkton Scavenger Transfer Station Expansion S.18 ESA/990190
