Consult the CWMB Desk Manual for the <br />level of expected detail (i.e. random load checks, training <br />of facility personnel). <br />It is sufficient to state that a set of scales will be <br />installed. It isn't necessary to specify the purpose. <br />In the anticipated changes section, please state that the <br />changes are anticipated and are not sanctioned by the <br />issuance of this permit. The changes may be significant and <br />subject to CEQA evaluation. <br />Include a statement that the local governing body has found <br />the surrounding land use is compatible with the facility <br />operation as required by Title 7.3 Government Code, Section <br />66796.41(b) (c) . <br />Include the environmental determination information. <br />B. Specifications <br />Item three should be corrected to read, "without first <br />obtaining a revised permit." <br />Add, "A change in operator would require a new permit." <br />May wish to include the following: "This revision of the <br />solid waste facilities permit supercedes the permit issued <br />on October 4, 1989. The permit has been revised to allow <br />increased tonnage, change operating hours, ....11 <br />C. Provisions <br />The type of safety gear necessary for specific site <br />operations should be included in the permit. <br />D. Self Monitoring <br />Include the number and type of vehicles utilizing the <br />facility <br />Include the statement, "Any other information as specified <br />by the LEA". <br />
