Solid Waste Facilities Permit (GC section 66796.32) <br />Prior to the commencement of expanded facility <br />operations, the Board must concur in a Solid Waste <br />Facilities Permit prepared by the Local Enforcement <br />Agency. Before the permit can be considered by the <br />Board, the local government, in whose jurisdiction the <br />facility is located, must make a finding that the <br />proposed expandedfacility is consistent with the General <br />Plan (GC section 66796.41). <br />Before this finding can be made, two conditions must be <br />met: <br />a. The facility must be designated in the County <br />General Plan, <br />and <br />b. The adjacent land uses must be compatible with the <br />site. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to review this document.
