• <br />Offices for sales, management, and administrative func- <br />tions. <br />A maintenance and repair building for servicing the com- <br />pany's collection vehicles. <br />A storage building for storing and maintaining (painting, <br />sandblasting, repairing, etc.) miscellaneous equipment <br />and supplies used in the company's collection operation. <br />A two -bay washing facility for cleaning the company's <br />trucks and roll -off containers. <br />A fueling station for servicing the company's collection <br />vehicles. <br />Parking and storage areas for collection vehicles, roll- <br />off containers, and refuse bins. <br />Approximately 75 persons are employed by the Stockton Scavenger <br />Association. Approximately 16 serve in management, sales, or clerical <br />positions. Approximately 25 are employed in maintenance or support <br />positions, and approximately 35 are employed as collection vehicle <br />drivers. Approximately 36 collection vehicles (including spares) are <br />based at the Corporation Yard including 10 rear loaders, 11 front <br />loaders and 15 roll -off vehicles. <br />A site plan identifying the major structures and facilities on the <br />property is illustrated in Figure 3. Principal structures include the <br />office, vehicle maintenance building, storage and maintenance build- <br />ing, and transfer station. Also identified are the wash bays, fueling <br />area, parking areas, stormwater collection sump, and storage yard. <br />Personnel facilities for employees working in the yard and for drivers <br />are located in the vehicle maintenance building at the northern end of <br />the site.
