Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388
209/468-3420
October 21, 1996
COPY
Criterium/Maglionico Engineers
P.O. Box 1839
Orangeville, CA 95662
Attn: Daniel Maglionico
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division has received and reviewed the
application for a solid waste facility permit revision and RSI amendment for the Tracy Material
Recovery and Transfer Station. This Division hereby finds the application complete, however,
the RSI amendment needs to include the following information:
1. TRAFFIC VOLjTME- Will the number of vehicles related to the transportation of
cannery waste significantly increase the number of vehicles per day already permitted for
this site?
2. SITE DRAINAGE- Provide this Division with a plan showing surface runoff and site
drainage and control features.
3. SITE SUPERVISION/PERSONNEL- Identify the amount of personnel or supervision
that will be available to provide proper operation of the cannery waste site.
4. SITE EQUIPMENT- Describe the type of equipment that will be used on this site for
cannery waste operations.
5. LAND USE- Describe existing land use to the south and east.
6. WEIGHT VOLUME RECORDS- Where will the cannery waste weight/volume records
be kept? The tonnage of the cannery waste should be reported with general tonnage of
the entire facility.
Submit items #146 above to this Division to be added to the RSI amendment so a permit
revision can be developed. If you have any questions regarding the above conditions, call Jeff
Carruesco, Sr. RENS, at (209) 468-3438, of my staff.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
