WHEREAS, Board staff consider the tomato ope'rations to be <br /> non-traditional operations which do not currently fall within the <br /> Board' s scope of authority; and <br /> WHEREAS, Board staff have determined that the increase in <br /> the transfer station' s permitted acreage will not change the <br /> existing facility design or operation and is exempt from CEQA; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the LEA and Board staff have evaluated the proposed <br /> permit and supporting documentation for consistency with <br /> standards adopted by the Board and have determined that the <br /> facility' s design and operation is consistent with State Minimum <br /> Standards; and <br /> WHEREAS, the LEA and Board staff conducted a joint <br /> inspection of the site on December 24, 1996 , and the inspection <br /> revealed no violations of State Minimum Standards for Solid Waste <br /> Handling; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board finds that all applicable state and local <br /> requirements for the proposed permit have been met, including <br /> consistency with the San Joaquin County General Plan and <br /> compliance with CEQA. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the California <br /> Integrated Waste Management Board concurs with the issuance of <br /> Solid Waste Facility Permit No. 39-AA-0024 . <br /> CERTIFICATION <br /> The undersigned Executive Director of the California Integrated <br /> Waste Management Board does hereby certify that the foregoing is <br /> a full, true, and correct copy of a resolution .,duly and regularly <br /> adopted at a meeting of the California Integrated Waste <br /> Management Board held on February 26, 1997 . <br /> Dated: FEB 2 7 1997 <br /> Ralph E.
