Many communities institute a notification <br /> system with the generator whereby contaminated loads are not collected and are <br /> rejected at the curb. The scale personnel will direct haulers to the <br /> chipping and grinding area of the composting facility. Appropriate <br /> signage will be placed within the composting facility to direct the hauler <br /> to the correct location as shown on the Site Plan. <br /> • The facility personnel will conduct a CCO load check during unloading. <br /> At least one trained load-checking employee will be present during <br /> deliveries. <br /> • The CCOs feedstock that will need to be processed at the facility will be <br /> placed into an exclusive stockpile next to the grinder, and will be ground <br /> within 24 hours of receipt. The processed CCO material will then be <br /> formed into elongated windrows in the CCO composting area for on-site <br /> composting. <br /> • All information pertaining to each CCO windrow will be documented in <br /> site records to allow instant identification of windrow status (e.g. start <br /> date, temperature readings, turnings, and sampling) and allow site <br /> personnel to isolate material waiting testing results. The Site Manager <br /> will keep a Map in his office showing Project windrow location and <br /> numbering system. <br /> • The temperature and moisture of the windrow materials will be monitored <br /> and controlled, and the Project windrows will be turned on a regular <br /> 7 <br />
