Construction &Demolition/Inert Debris Facility Report
Tracy Material Recovery Facility and Transfer Station
30703 S. Mac4rthur Drive, Tracy, California 95377
Schematic Drawing of Buildings and Structures and Operations Area
The Site Plans containing, the tentative parcel map, the schematic drawings of
buildings and other structures showing the layout and general dimensions of the
operations areas, including the unloading, storage and loading areas are
provided the Figures section. Complete plans for future buildings and equipment
installation will be submitted with the corresponding building permit applications,
prior to construction, where applicable.
Descriptive Statement of Facility Activity
Existing Activities
Tracy MRF and TS operates a construction & demolition (C&D) Debris
Processing Area adjacent to the Transfer Station building, on the east side on
asphalt-concrete surface. The area is a quadrant of a semi-circle with an 80 feet
radius comprising an operational area of approximately 2,500 square feet. The
facility currently processes up to 175 tons per day (TPD) of mixed C&D per day.
An Inert Processing Area is located just west of the compost pad along the
access road, in the northwest area of the facility. The size of the pad is 50 feet
wide and 200 feet long and does not exceed 20 feet in height with 1:1 side
slopes. The total volume of the inert stockpile will not exceed 4,000 cubic yards
at any one time. The facility currently processes an average 35 TPD of inert
materials per day.
Proposed Activities Overview
The C&D and Inert (CDI) processing activities proposed at the expanded facility
will be phased in, as previously discussed, in accordance with the description of
operations and tonnage limits set forth in the following section. and summarized
in Table 1:
Table 1 - Proposed Activities Overview
Phase Average Description
Tonnage
1 200 TPD Inert Debris Recycling expanded to additional one acre
— ad in northwest corner of site.
C&D operations area expansion and relocation to
1 200 TPD southeast corner of site.
(utilizing floor-sort technolo
Phase 1 400 TPD
Subtotal
2 400 TPD Tonnage increase following C&D processing upgrade
—
utilizing mechanized Eick line technolo
Total 600 TPD Combined peak CDI processing ca acit
2 170.18 CDI FacReport 02121313
