Transfer/Processing Report <br /> Tracy Material Recovery and Transfer Facility <br /> 30703 5. Mac4rthur Drive, Tracy, California 95377 <br /> Material Recovery Operations: Drugs, food, cosmetics, beverages, and other non- <br /> hazardous materials may cross the recyclables and/or C&D pick-line or processing <br /> area. The employees are notified not to salvage these materials and allow them to <br /> become residual, which will be disposed of at a permitted landfill. Hazardous <br /> waste, poison, or medical waste, or other hazardous waste materials that may end <br /> up on these pick lines would be managed through the loading checking program, <br /> and stored on-site in the appropriate medical waste storage containers, located in <br /> several areas of the MRF line and building, at the C&D Processing Area or the <br /> HHW storage area. . <br /> Nuisance Control <br /> Identification and correction of potential nuisance conditions will be in accordance <br /> with mitigation monitoring and reporting plan that will result from the adoption of <br /> the CEQA document and the approval of the modification to the Special Use <br /> Permit. <br /> Maintenance Program <br /> The Facility will be maintained in a state of good repair. The operator will <br /> implement a preventative maintenance program to monitor and promptly repair or <br /> correct deteriorated or defective conditions. <br /> A preventive maintenance program will be followed to provide for the timely <br /> identification and correction of equipment and facility problems. The preventive <br /> maintenance program includes routine cleaning of refuse and litter from the facility. <br /> Facility personnel identify areas of the site in need of cleaning or repair while <br /> conducting routine site inspections. <br /> Facility equipment is maintained under a program that focuses on identifying and <br /> correcting equipment problems before breakage or failure occurs. This program <br /> allows equipment maintenance to be scheduled for weekends or after hours to <br /> avoid disruptions to the transfer operations. The inspection, maintenance and <br /> repair program will be in accordance with the equipment manufacturers' <br /> recommendations. Repair parts will also be stocked in the adjacent truck <br /> maintenance facility as needed. <br /> Personnel Health and Safety <br /> The Injury, Illness, and Prevention Program (IIPP) are available for review by local <br /> and state inspectors during normal business hours. A copy of the Injury, Illness, <br /> and Prevention Program will be made available for review by the LEA in the <br /> administrative offices of the facility. <br /> 31 <br />
