Peak Loading <br /> 18221.6(k) description of provisions to handle unusual peak loading <br /> The Facility design capacity is 7,972 TPD and 4,320 VPD for the combined <br /> operations of the Material Recovery & Transfer Facility where only 1,800 TPD <br /> 1,245 VPD cumulatively is being permitted. A Facility Capacity Study providing <br /> detailed analysis of the design capacity for each aspect of operations is provided <br /> in Appendix F. <br /> Peak loading will be handled using existing equipment and manpower within the <br /> posted operating hours. The staffing is flexible for when one waste stream may be <br /> at a seasonal low, another may be at peak, and transfer of specific materials will <br /> transition to another.
