Each type of house is designed to function <br /> differently and will be described below. At the present time the facility operates year <br /> round. Houses 1-5 are open house approximately 50 years old. All houses 1 —5 are <br /> empty/not in production at this time. S.K.S. is planning in the future to use house 1—A <br /> for cage free chickens with 6,500 birds. ,Manure belts will be cleaned out every 4 days <br /> and taken to the composting house. Only woody house#1 will be used with 42000 birds. <br /> House 1 is 118 ft. x 230 ft. x 2. They are only going to use House 1 —A,36 ft. x230 ft.of <br /> the space.Houses 1-4 are environmental houses.House 1-2 were built in 2000 and <br /> houses 3-4 were built in 2006.The process of manure cleaning is a manure belt.The <br /> houses are being cleaned in 3 cycles first 1/3 of the houses are being cleaned out <br /> everyday.The manure belts run into the belt conveyor in the back of the chicken houses <br /> and then brought into the tractor container and brought immediately into the <br /> composting house.All the debris is being completely scraped to minimize the flies.We <br /> 3 <br />
