Fly breeding was observed in the wet manure pile located west of the houses on the south side of <br /> the facility(see photo 5) and in the dry manure pile located on the north side of the new hoise 15 <br /> (see photo 4). <br /> 2. There were a number of Adult flies on Briggs Road near the property line of the facility. The fly <br /> population at the facility was high(see photo 2 and 3).No fly traps, baits or sprays were observed <br /> during the inspection. <br /> 3. Spilled eggs were observed between houses 4 and 5 (see photo 1). Spilled eggs were also <br /> observed around the solid waste container located next to the wet manure pile on the south side of <br /> the facility(see photo 6). <br /> Corrective Actions: <br /> • Immediately spray to reduce the number of fly's onsite.Implement and maintain fly control <br /> measures throughout the facility to control adult fly population. <br /> • Reduce the amount of manure onsite and turn or process on a more frequent basis to prevent fly <br /> breeding. <br /> • Place a tray to catch the eggs that break. Remove or check trays on a daily basis.Maintain in a <br /> clean sanitary condition. <br /> • Re-inspection will occur on November 14, 2016. All violations must be corrected by this date. <br /> • There will be a$139 charge for this inspection. <br /> Notes: <br /> • Fly population at the west end of Briggs Avenue(adjacent to facility)was moderate. Odors were <br /> light. There may be some fly breeding occurring at homes that have a back yard flocks along <br /> Briggs Road. <br /> • Fly population along Manila Rd. (south of facility)was light and no odors were detected. <br />
