Haley Farms purchased <br /> the property from Karl Jensen& Sons, at 5793 W Delta Avenue,Tracy, Ca 95304, on <br /> October 28, 2004. We would like to keep the Solid Waste Compost Site permit(#4443) <br /> as held by Karl Jensen& Sons. We are a meat bird company and therefore will no longer <br /> need the permit for egg laying hens. All of our poultry is sold live for meat. Any eggs <br /> produced on the farm are sent to an egg breaker facility. No eggs are processed at the <br /> location of 5793 W. Delta Avenue. <br /> As per the information I received from you,we are aware there will be a quarterly <br /> inspection of the compost site. We are requesting notification from your office at least 24 <br /> hours prior to the inspection so we can have someone available to let you on the property. <br /> Per our Meat Quality Assurance Plan, our company follows a very strict biosecurity <br /> program and therefore no one is allowed on the property without authorization from our <br /> office. <br /> I have enclosed a check in the amount of$186.00 for the compost permit, as per <br /> the attached invoice from your office, excluding the laying hen permit.
