Pratt <br /> ACCUMPANILD BY: HriBn Piper, uud and uudny Hayle, Spredder's <br /> OBSERVATIONS AND COMMENTS: <br /> This inspection was conducted at the rogtipst of Brien Piper. The purpose of the <br /> inspection was to determine whether coal ash storiage 6A Victoria Island poses any <br /> threat to water quality. <br /> Ash is being piled east of the Old River levee, north of Highway 4. Shields National <br /> plans to have the ash spread on wheat and safflower stubble as soon as the crops are <br /> harvested. The ash will be incorporated after spreading. <br /> As ash is being delivered, a water tank wagon is being used to sprinkle the area around <br /> the pile to prevent dust. There was no evidence of drift or other migration of ash <br /> from the piling area. <br /> INSPEC ION SUMMARY: <br /> At the time of the inspection there was no threat to water quality from temporarily <br /> stock piling ash on Victoria Island. <br /> ouis F.
