f
Benjamin Hall and Nick Musc 2
Musco Olive Product, Inc. and The Studley Company
San Joaquin County
be discussed in the Report of Waste Discharge(ROWD), for which the Regional Board has received.
The Regional Board proposes to address the ROWD in 2004.
With regards to changing chemical trends, we recommend piper diagrams be used as a tool to fingerprint
the cations and anions as they change over time in each water-bearing zone as part of any fixture
investigations. As part of this ongoing evaluation,we require information regarding the spray irrigation
adjacent to the surface impoundment monitoring wells be included in the monitoring reports. Water
quality assessments should include maps where irrigation has occurred, volume of irrigated waste water,
length of irrigation time and dates, and the chemistry of the waste water. This information must be
included in the quarterly monitoring reports, especially if water quality changes are occurring that are not
attributed to leachate from the surface impoundments.
If you have any question or would like to meet regarding this matter, please contact me at 916-464-4737.
4-
7
KIM A.
