Leachate was collected and sampled <br /> (April 2000, comparison to earlier testing? from Pond A and Pond B south sumps. <br /> Sept.2003)or Results indicated liquid observed was waste <br /> check WDRs water. LCRS testing indicated the header <br /> piping in Pond A had settled in various places <br /> and consequently water did not flow <br /> properly. <br /> Violations Noted? (check one) Yes—X— No <br /> If YES, check all issues that apply and provide comments: <br /> Comments (to be entered into CIWQS/Geotracker): <br /> Incomplete transmittal letter Sump liquid analyzed indicates primary liner is <br /> Incomplete report leaking. Report offers no other possibilities <br /> Inadequate monitoring program concerning this liquid. Although sporadic when <br /> New release observed it nonetheless has been observed and <br /> Inadequate response to evidence of a release analyzed. LCRS testing indicates Pond A piping is <br /> _X_WDRs violation other than listed above deficient in its ability to transmit injected water. <br /> Other(explain in comments) Video inspection of header pipe indicates major <br /> settling of pipe and ponding of water. No indication <br /> that laterals have settled but likely if header pipe has. <br /> This requires further investigation by the Discharger. <br />
