Colbert : <br /> We are pleased to provide you with a proposal to perform and certify a tank assessment for the <br /> waste water treatment system at the subject site . <br /> 1 . 0 PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br /> It is our understanding that the facility was inspected on May 10 , 2011 by the San Joaquin County <br /> Department of Environmental Health ( SJCDEH ) . The county determined that the site contingency <br /> plan was not complete and required an immediate update . As part of the update , Lustre- Cal is <br /> required to obtain a written tank assessment of the waste water treatment units at the facility . The <br /> county is also requiring an assessment of the secondary containment for the waste water <br /> treatment unit . These assessments must be reviewed and certified by an independent , qualified , <br /> professional engineer, registered in California . <br /> 2 . 0 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Terracon Consultants , Inc . (Terracon ) has experience in dealing with hazardous waste <br /> regulations including Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure Plans , Storm Water Pollution <br /> Prevention Plans , and Phase I & I I environmental assessments . Subsequent to our meeting and <br /> review of the documentation provided , we propose to perform the following scope of work : <br /> 1 . Perform a tank assessment for the waste water treatment units and secondary <br /> containment in accordance with Title 22 hazardous waste regulations . Seismic <br /> calculations for each tank will be provided in accordance with the California Building <br /> Code , <br /> 2 .
