Recommended Practices for the Testing and Verification of Spill,Overfill,Leak Detection and Secondary Containment Equipment at LIST Facilities <br /> Verify that the console has no active or <br /> recurring history of leak detection-related <br /> wamings or alarms. In the event of any <br /> such warnings or alarms, notify the appro- <br /> priate person before continuing the test. <br /> Where possible print out the system setup <br /> and any alarm histories from the console. <br /> Save the printout for facility records or <br /> make an electronic copy. <br /> 8.2.1.5 Test Equipment. Test equip- <br /> ment shall include: <br /> • tools for the removal of the ATG probe <br /> and sensors; <br /> • tape measure or gauge stick; <br /> • water-finding paste. <br /> 8.2.1.6 Test Procedure. <br /> 1. Measure the product and water level <br /> in the tank and compare to the console <br /> readings to confirm ATG accuracy. If <br /> the readings do not agree,contact the FIGURE 8-2.
