This dates back to <br /> 1933-1934. Mr. Jennings stated that the `Cotton Compress plant <br /> with 80 inch press and boiler was all in ;place including the- <br /> under <br /> heunder ground tank which was for boiler oil better known as Crude <br /> #6 when he moved here from Fresno, CA. Mr. Jennings also <br /> mentioned that the #6 - crude oil was for a backup to natural gas <br /> availability and that crude #6 was seldom used. <br /> I personally know that from 1951 to'�the,.date of removal, the <br /> #6 crude oil was the only type of fuel that was ever put in the <br /> tank.
