Analytical results of grab water samples collected from <br /> soil boring#2 (B2) west of the former underground storage tank(UST) excavation (occupied by <br /> existing UST) were 8,300 µg/l of Total Petroleum Hydmcarbons as gasoline (IpHg), 8 5 µg/1 of <br /> Benzene, 150 µg/1 of Toluene, 120 µg/l of Ethyl Benzene, 1,300 µg/1 of Xylenes,29 µg/1 of Methyl <br /> I tert Butyl Ether(1VME),and 6 2 µg/1 of 1,2-dichloroethane MTBE was detected in the sod sample <br /> collected from B2 at 40 feet below surface grade (bsg) at a concentration of 130 Wkg,50 feet at 33 <br /> µg/kg,but was not-detect at in the soil samples 70,80,90 feet bsg Groundwater was first <br /> encountered at 70 feet bsg According to maps of Lutes of Equal Depth to Groundwater published <br /> by San Joaquin County Flood Control for Fall 1978 and 1979,the historic groundwater low in the <br /> area was between 80 to 90 feet bsg <br /> PI-IS/EBD concurs with the conclusions m the PIER that the contami nauon in the soil and <br /> groundwater has not been defined.
