I <br /> 18 December 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 01-0839 <br /> Page 4 of 8 <br /> 3 3 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY <br />' Following installation, each well will be developed to maximize water flow and minimize the <br /> amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping or bailing After development, <br />' the top of each well casing (well head) will be surveyed to determine its elevation relative to mean <br /> sea level Procedures for well installation,development and survey are presented in Sections 4 2.and <br />' 4 3 , respectively <br />' 3 4 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling of each newly installed ground water monitoring well will <br />' be conducted on a quarterly basis unless an alternate schedule or suspension of monitoring is <br /> approved by the PHS-EHD Ground water monitoring activities will include recording depth to <br /> groundwater measurements and collection of groundwater samples for laboratory analysis Ground <br />' water sample collection procedures are described in Section 4 4 <br /> Ground water samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services <br /> (DHS)-certified laboratory for the following constituents <br /> o TPH-g in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030, <br />' o BTEX and MTBE in accordance with EPA Method 8020, and <br /> e TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, MTBE, 1,2-DCA and EDB in accordance with EPA Method <br /> 8260 Modified <br /> 3 5 PREPARATION OF REPORT OF FINDINGS <br /> Following each ground water monitoring event, a quarterly report will be prepared presenting the <br /> findings Each report will include a description of work performed and the results of the groundwater <br /> sampling and analysis Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory <br /> Iquality assurance/quality control(QA/QC)reports,and sample chain of custody documentation will <br /> be presented in the quarterly report Conclusions and recommendations will also be included, if <br /> applicable The report will be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD and the CVRWQCB, and will <br /> be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist <br /> Advanced GeoEnirohmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
