The three maps below were generated from the electromagnetic induction apparatus- EMP-400.The
EMP-400 was operated at three frequencies: 15000MHz for shallow depth range, 10000 MHz for mid-
depth range and 3000MHz for long depth range collection. The data was collected in a continuous
strand with readings taken every 0.5 seconds. The strands were collected parallel to one another
approximately 2' on center.
Please revert to EMI maps for EMP labels.
EMP: 1.
This sub-surface anomaly appears strongest at 10000MHz. It was not detected by the GPR unit and thus
unable to be cross referenced. The data from the EMP-400 suggests that it is a small object in depth
between 2' and 3'. It does not appear to be a UST and does not continue throughout the subject
property. With the data collected it can only be constituted as a sub-surface anomaly(SSA).
EMP: 2.
This reaction was caused by the sewer cover that can be seen in the picture on page-5.The reaction is
consistent through all three frequencies collected.
EMP: 3.
This reaction was caused by soil disturbance and can be cross referenced to the data collected by the
400MHz GPR unit seen on page-3. The reaction is not strong but consistent through the three
frequencies.
EMP:4.
This strong reaction was caused by the power lines connecting the street lighting that is running in the
sidewalk parallel to Wilson Way Rd.
EMP:A.
This reaction was caused do to physical aspects surrounding the subject property. In the physical
location this reaction occurred, objects were present above the ground that interfered with the signal
thus causing a false positive reaction.
