Interim Remediation and Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> WATERLOO FOOD AND FUEL <br /> 3032 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Paul Sidhu of Waterloo Food and Fuel, Advanced Geo Environmental, Inc <br /> (AGE) has prepared the enclosed interim remediation and site assessment work plan for the property <br /> located at 3032 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California The location of the site is illustrated on <br /> Figure I A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> This work plan is prepared in accordance with California Regional Water Quality Control Board - <br /> Central Valley Region (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank <br /> (UST) sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> The site was occupied by a former gasoline station and a mini-mart The mini-mart and service <br /> station are currently in operation with an up-graded UST system Three gasoline USTs and one waste <br /> oil UST were removed from the site in January 1999 AGE has been informed that an abandoned <br /> . UST estimated at 5,000-gallons was discovered and remains in place at the site <br /> 21 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located on the southwest corner of Waterloo Road and Sutro Avenue, approximately <br /> 2,000 feet west of Highway 99 August Elementary School is located north of the site, with the <br /> surrounding area consisting of residential and commercial properties A single structure occupies the <br /> southern portion of the site <br /> 22 SITE HYDROGEOLOGIC CONDITIONS <br /> The closest surface water feature to the site is the Stockton Diverting Canal, located approximately <br /> 1,000 feet northeast of the site Generally the ground water elevation data collected from <br /> surrounding sites has documented a seasonal fluctuation of approximately five to ten feet At the site <br /> ground water has been monitored at depths ranging from 32 feet to 50 feet below surface grade (bsg) <br /> Based upon ground water data collected from nearby subsurface investigations, the ground water <br /> flow direction has been dominantly toward the south, however, the ground water flow at the site has <br /> been inferred to be toward the southwest In general, ground water occurs within a light brown clayey <br /> silt <br /> Advanced GeoEmironmentdl, Inc <br />
