Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2005 <br /> WATERLOO FOOD & FUEL <br /> 3032 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Mr Paul Sidhu,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this report <br /> for the site located at 3032 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California (site) The scope of work <br /> included conducting the fourth quarter 2045 ground water monitoring event on November 2005 and <br /> preparation of this report The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1, locations of structures, <br /> soil borings and monitoring wells at the site are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> At the present time, there are a total of seven monitoring well locations at the site, four locations <br /> contain single-level wells (MW-1 through MW-4), and three locations (MW-5 through MW-7) <br /> contain multi-level wells consisting of five perforated and screened well chambers (A through E) <br /> in a seven-chamber casing (Continuous Multichannel Tubing-CMT) An eighth monitoring well <br /> (MW-8) was destroyed due to redevelopment of the adjacent property to the east <br /> Based on field and laboratory analytical data, well screens were set within discrete depth intervals <br /> (hydrogeologic units) to monitor vertical and lateral changes in hydraulic gradient, contaminant <br /> concentrations and migration directions within the hydrogeologic units Each hydrogeologic unit was <br /> defined based on lithologic information provided by cone penetrometer testing, as detailed in the <br /> AGE-prepared Cone Penetrometer Testing and Monitoring Well Installation Report, dated <br /> 11 February 2002 A historical site background and well constructions are summarized in <br /> Appendix A <br /> Six hydrogeologic units (HUs) were defined as follows <br /> • HU 1 (water table to 55 feet below surface grade [bsgl),within the screened interval of wells <br /> MW-1 through MW-4 and A-wells MW-5A through MW-7A, <br /> • HU2 (62 to 70 feet bsg), within the screened interval of wells MW-1 through MW-4 and <br /> A-wells MW-5A through MW-7A, Water is currently below most of these wells <br /> • HU3 (70 to 90 feet bsg),within the screened interval of B-wells MW-513 through MW-713, <br /> • HU4 (90 to 100 feet bsg), within the screened interval of B-wells MW-5B through MW-713, <br /> • HU5 (100 to 155 feet bsg),within the screened interval of C- and D-wells MW-5C and <br /> MW-51) through MW-7C and MW-71), and <br /> • HU6(175 tol 85 feet bsg),within the screened interval of E-wells MW-5E through MW-7E <br /> HU6 is designated as the deepest hydrogeologic unit monitored <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
