PROCEDURES <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling were performed between 27 and 28 May(second quarter) <br />' and 29 and 30 September 2003 (third quarter) The work was performed In accordance with <br /> guidelines established by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board(CRWQCB)-Central <br /> Valley Division for subsurface Investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites, and with the <br />' EHD-approved Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 12 October 1999, and Interim <br /> Remediation and Site Assessment Work Plan, date 25 January 2001, both prepared by AGE <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br />' During the second- and third-quarter monitoring events, depth to ground water was measured In <br /> wells MW-1 through MW-8E from the top of the well casings to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a <br /> Slope water level meter,ground water elevations and gradients In this report are based on the second- <br /> and third-quarter depth measurements <br /> Second-Quarter Monitoring Event <br />' After ground-water depth measurements,dedicated,disposable polyethylene bailers were utilized to <br /> purge standing water from wells MW-1 through MW-4 Approximately 3 to 3 25 gallons of water <br /> (a minimum ofthree casing water-volumes per well)were removed from the wells,and approximately <br />' 0 2 feet of free product was measured and removed from well MW-3 <br /> The well chambers of the multi-level monitoring wells MW-5 through MW-8 were purged by <br /> lowering and raising a 318-Inch outer diameter, length-discrete polyethylene hose equipped with a <br /> ball-valve water tip through the top chambers Into the specific water-charged screened section <br /> Approximately 0 2 to 4 25 gallons of ground water (a minimum of three casing-water volumes per <br /> well),when available,were removed from the multi-level monitoring well levels A,B, C, D and E <br /> Third-Quarter Monitoring Event <br /> Free product was encountered In wells MW-1 through MW-3 Dedicated, disposable polyethylene <br /> Ibailers were utilized to measure and purge the free product from the wells, approximately one Inch <br /> to three feet of product was measured and removed from wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 <br /> The well chambers of the multi-level monitoring wells MW-5 through MW-8 were purged by <br /> lowering and raising a 318-Inch outer diameter, length-discrete polyethylcne hose equipped with a <br /> IAdvanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc <br />
