ti <br /> Advanced <br /> Ge®Environ ental, Inc. <br /> 02 December 2003 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 99-0559 <br /> Mr Harlin Knoll RECOVED <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third floor DEC 03 <br /> Stockton, California 95202 z00 <br /> ENV1.RDI&ENi N1_Al1.1 <br /> PMMiT,'SERV10ES <br /> Subject: Site Assessment Work Plan Addendum <br /> WATERLOO FOOD AND FUEL <br /> 3032 East Waterloo Road, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Knoll <br /> At the request of Mr Paul Sidhu of Waterloo Food and Fuel, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE) has prepared a site assessment work plan addendum for the property located at 3032 East <br /> Waterloo Road, Stockton, California The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 A plan ofthe <br /> site,including proposed soil boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 This scope of work is based <br /> on procedures within the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)-approved <br /> Interim Remediation and Site Assessment Work Plan, date 25 January 2001 Previous off-site <br /> assessment was described in Cone Penetrometer Testing Report -Fourth Quarter 2002 AGE had <br /> proposed six CPT borings in the Site Assessment Work Plan Addendum, dated 15 May 2002, <br /> however the EHD had directed the off-site assessment should be limited to five CPT borings <br /> Impacted ground water was encountered in the westernmost CPT borings,down-gradient of the site, <br /> therefore,to complete the off-site assessment west of the documented plume AGE has prepared this <br /> work plan addendum <br /> The scope of the work involves the advancement of four additional,off-site cone penetrometer testing <br /> (CPT) soil borings to a depth of 150 feet below surface grade(bsg), for off-site lateral and vertical <br /> assessment of hydrocarbons and fuel additives and to reassess the hydrogeologic model of the site <br /> Grab ground water sample will be collected from each soil borings at depths of 60 feet, 100 feet, 135 <br /> feet and 150 feet bsg Collection and analysis of grab ground water samples will follow the <br /> procedures approved in the aforementioned work plan The proposed soil boring locations are <br /> illustrated on Figure 2 A distribution ofthe MTBE impacted ground water samples is also illustrated <br /> on Figure 2 A report of finding will be prepared following the field procedures <br /> AGE will notify the EHD at least 48 hours prior to commencement of field activities <br /> 837 Shaw Road,Srockron, California 95215 <br /> Telephone(209)467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118 <br />
