10 April 2003 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 99-0559 <br /> Page 5 of 8 <br />' 32 64 feet(MW-6C) and 33 75 feet(MW-$C)below MSL, at the former UST release ground water <br /> was inferred to be flowing toward the north-northwest away from the former UST area with a <br /> hydraulic gradient of 0 001 ft/ft (Figure 5) <br />' Within <br /> the lower portion of HUS (Lower HUS), screened between 14$ and 160 feet bsg, ground <br />' water elevation data collected from monitoring wells MW-51),MW-7D and MW-$D ranged between <br /> 33 38 feet (MW-8D) and 33 71 feet (MW-7D) below MSL, ground water was determined to be <br /> flowing toward the north-northwest at a hydraulic gradient of 0 005 ft/ft (Figure 6) <br /> I <br /> HU6 <br />' Ground water elevation data collected from monitoring wells MW-5E through MW-8E ranged <br /> between 33 02 feet (MW-8E) and 33 75 feet (MW-6E) below MSL, ground water was inferred to <br /> be flowing toward the south with a hydraulic gradient of 0 007 ft/ft (Figure 7) <br /> 3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLE ANALYSIS <br /> Twenty-five ground water samples were analyzed by CTEL for the chemical constituents referenced <br /> in Section 2 2 The following is a summary of the analytical results for each hydrologic unit <br /> HU1 and HU2 <br /> TPH-g was detected In all samples at concentrations ranging between 400 micrograms per Iiter(gg/1) <br /> in sample MW-8A and 800,000 µg/1 in sample MW-3 BTEX compounds were detected in all <br /> samples except MW-5A at maximum concentrations of 14,000 µg/1 benzene (MW-4), 13,000 µg/1 <br /> toluene(MW-2),4,100µg/1 ethylbenzene(MW-7A)and 14,100µg/1 total xylenes(MW--3) MTBE <br /> was detected in all samples except MW-8A at a maximum concentration of 290,000µg/1(MW-7A), <br /> TAME was detected in samples MW-5A and MW-6A at a maximum concentration of 150 µg/1 <br /> (MW-6A), ETBE was detected in samples MW-5A and MW-7A at a maximum concentration of <br /> 91 µg/l (MW-7A), TBA was detected in sample MW-3 at 500 µg/1 and 1,2-DCA was detected in <br /> samples MW-4, MW-5A and MW-7A at a maximum concentration of 17 µg/1 (MW-4) <br /> CDuring the quarter, free-product was recovered in wells MW-2 and MW-3 <br /> Advanced GeoEnwronmental,Inc <br /> i <br />
