1 <br />' 15 February 2002 <br /> • AGE-NC Project No 99-0559 <br />' Page 3 of 7 <br />' 2 3 ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Each ground water sample was logged on a chain-of-custody form,placed in a chilled container and <br />' transported to McCampbell Analytical Inc (MAI), for analysis The ground water samples were <br /> analyzed for the following <br />' Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with EPA <br /> Method 8015 Modified, <br />' • Benzenc,toluene,ethylbenzene and xylene(BTEX)and methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) <br /> in accordance with EPA Method 8020, and <br /> • Fuel additives, Including tertiary butanol (TBA), di-isopropyl ether(DIPE), ethyl tert-butyl <br />' ether (ETBE) and tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME), MTBE, methanol, ethanol, ethyl- <br /> dibromide(EDB) and 1,2-dichloroethane(1,2-DCA)in accordance with EPA Method 8260 <br />' Modified <br /> 24 FREE PRODUCT REMOVAL <br /> During the quarter, free-product was recovered using a passive skimmer deployed on well MW-2 <br /> After removal,the water and free product were stored on-site in 55-gallon DOT H-17 storage drums <br /> The removal was performed in a accordance with Cali forma Underground Storage Tank Regulations, <br /> Article 5, Section 2655 <br /> 3.0. FINDINGS <br /> Ground water elevation, flow direction and gradient were determined from field data collected on <br /> 31 October and 01 November 2001, the contaminant impact to ground water was quantified by the <br /> ground water sample laboratory analytical data <br /> I3 1 GROUND WATER ELEVATION AND GRADIENT <br /> The ground water elevation on 31 October and 01 November 2001 are listed for each hydrologic unit <br /> as defined in the Cone Penetrometer Testing and Monitoring Well Installation Report dated <br /> 1 I February 2002 Each hydrologic unit (described in Section 2 0 ) is sampled by wells having the <br /> Ifollowing letter designations in the well names and screen intervals hydrologic units 1 and 2 (A,55 <br /> • to 65 feet bsg), hydrologic unit 4 (B,90 to 100 feet bsg), 5 upper hydrologic unit(C,125 to 135 feet <br /> bsg), 5 lower hydrologic unit (D,150 to 160 feet bsg) Hydrologic unit 6 (E,175 to 185 feet bsg) is <br /> currently the deepest hydrologic unit monitored <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc <br />
