At
a depth of approximately 65 feet a Hydropunch sampling tool will be utilized to collect discrete
groundwater samples. The groundwater samples will be decanted into the appropriate containers,
uniquely labeled, and placed in a chilled container for transport to the laboratory. The samples will
be transported under chain of custody protocol to State-Certified Argon Laboratories (ELAP No.
2359) where they will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) and diesel
(TPHd) by EPA Method 8015M; and for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX),
oxygenated fuel additives and lead scavengers by EPA Method 8260B. Upon completion the
boreholes will be backfilled to grade with neat cement emplaced by a tremie system. No
investigation-derived wastes are expected to be generated by this investigation.
All field activities will be consistent with our Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan (Attachment
A)and the Site Specific Safety Plan (Attachment B).
Enclosed please find a completed Master File Record Information Form, and boring permit
application along with a check for the applicable fees.
G:\Data\GROUNDZMVPPS\WRIGHTS ESCAIAN\WORKPLAN\Hydropu h Workplamdoc
