23 July 2015 <br /> AGE Project No. 15-3320 <br /> Page 4 of 4 <br /> borings will be abandoned by backfilling with cement grout from the total depth to <br /> surface grade utilizing tremie procedures. The top three to six inches of the boring <br /> abandonments will be completed flush to surface grade with native soils or concrete. <br /> The SJCEHD will be notified for grout inspection at least 48 hours prior to conducting <br /> grouting procedures. <br /> EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION/WASTE MANAGEMENT <br /> All sampling tools used for sample collection, except for disposable bailers, will be <br /> thoroughly rinsed with clean water after being washed with a solution of Alconox. All <br /> down-hole drilling equipment will be pressure washed prior to starting each boring. <br /> Cuttings generated during drilling and rinseate generated during drilling and <br /> groundwater sampling activities will be containerized in properly labeled DOT-approved <br /> 55-gallon drums, and stored on-site in an area lacking public access.
