' Blaes Enwtonniental Alanngemenr Inc 1 St Qtr 2005 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> 002-70950-04 <br /> U-Haul#709-50 <br /> 1 0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report presents a summary of activities and results of the groundwater monitoring program <br /> conducted during the first calendar quarter of 2005 at U-Haul Facility #709-50 located at 2701 North <br /> ' Wilson Way in Stockton, California The report presents a background of site conditions and a brief <br /> summary of the procedures and results for the most recent groundwater monitoring event conducted on <br /> ' March 14, 15, and 16, 2005 The groundwater monitoring event was coordinated with Ground Zero <br /> Analysis, consultant for Former Harry's Auto Mart, to evaluate groundwater conditions in the site area <br /> 1 1 SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> ' U-Haul Facility #709-50 is located at 2701 North Wilson Way (on the southwest corner of the <br /> intersection of North Wilson Way and Sanguinetti Lane) in Stockton, California (Figure 1) The site is <br /> ' situated in a commercial area and is currently used as an equipment storage and rental facility The site <br /> is generally flat with a slight grade to the southeast The site elevation is approximately 21 feet above <br /> , . mean sea level A general site plan is included as Figure 2 <br /> ' 1 2 PROJECT AUTHORIZATION <br /> In January 1999, Blaes Environmental Management, Inc (Blaes Environmental) was contracted by <br /> Amerco Real Estate Company/U-Haul International (U-Haul) to conduct a soil and groundwater <br /> remediation program at the site Prior to initiating remedial activities at the site, the San Joaquin County <br /> ' Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) requested several additional groundwater monitoring <br /> events and site characterization activities to confirm the concentration of petroleum hydrocarbons and to <br /> ' further evaluate the extent of the hydrocarbon plume in groundwater at the site The remediation <br /> program included conducting remedial testing, performing quarterly groundwater monitoring and <br /> reporting, and developing a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />
