Blass Environmental Management Inc 2nd Qtr 2004 Groundwater Monitonng Report <br /> 002-70950-04 <br /> U-Haul#709-50 <br /> 13 PROJECT STATUS <br /> In accordance with a SJCEHD approved workplan, Blaes Environmental installed three additional <br /> groundwater monitoring wells (MW-10, MW-11, and MW-12) in April 2002 and March 2003 to further <br /> assess the lateral extent of dissolved phase hydrocarbons to the east, west, and south of the site In <br /> addition, two remedial test wells (one air sparge, and one nested vapor extraction well) were installed <br /> near the westernmost former dispenser island in April 2002 Following the installation of the additional <br /> wells, the following remedial feasibility tests were conducted vapor extraction and air sparge test, <br /> aquifer pump test, and a biofeasibility analysis of the soil and groundwater The results of the remedial <br /> feasibility tests were presented to U-Haul and SJCEHD in the Blaes Environmental Remedial Feasibility <br /> Test Report dated February 28, 2003 <br /> 14 PROJECT OBJECTIVES <br /> The objective of the quarterly groundwater monitoring program is to provide additional monitoring data <br /> to further evaluate groundwater conditions beneath the site The data will be used to support planned <br /> interim remedial activities at the site 1 <br /> 2 <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />
