WILSON WAY, STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA
SOTA'S PROJECT NO. 94HWO21
' Dear Mr Infurna
SOTA Environmental Technology, Inc (SOTA) is pleased to submit the following
Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report for your review This report
documents the groundwater sampling program that was conducted on October
24, 1995 at the subject site The site location map is presented in Figure I
Figure 2, shows the location of the wells, the groundwater elevations, the
groundwater contours and flow direction for October 24, 1995 sampling event.
Groundwater concentrations of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons-gasoline
standard (TPH-g) are provided in Figure 3
As proposed in SOTA's workplan on November 29, 1994, in order to further
delineate the groundwater contamination plume, additional site assessment
was required Upon approval from San Joaquin County and U-Haul
International, and after obtaining the necessary permits, SOTA proceeded with
additional site assessment investigation which included drilling one off-site
monitoring well, and one on-site monitoring well Initially it was proposed to
' drill two off-site monitoring wells, however due to the location of underground
utilities, the drilling of one off-site monitoring well (MW-9) was abandoned
Details of all drilling activities and analysis carried out at this time (10/10/95
' to 10/11/95) will be provided in a separate report. Groundwater sampling and
analysis was carried out on the existing and newly installed monitoring wells on
10/24/95, the results of which are included in this report
' SOTA's engineer measured the depth to groundwater at all eight monitoring
wells, MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, MW-5, MW-6, MW-7, and MW-8 on October
24, 1995. The depth to the water level and the corresponding surface
' elevations, with respect to mean sea level, are presented in Table 1. SOTA's
engineer informed San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division of the
proposed sampling event, in advance, on October 13, 1995
16980 Via 7azon Suite 130 430 Foothill Blvd Suite B
M San Diego CA 92127-1633 La Canada CA 91011
619 485 8100 FAX 619 485 0812 818 952 8124 818 790 2080
