ETS ENVIRONMENTAL & ASSOCIATES
PSR-1 PAGE 2
I
Prior to the collection of the water samples from wells
one through three, depth to water measurements were collected
allowing ETS Environmental to calculate current gradient and
ground water slope information (see Appendix B) .
Upon field observation and laboratory analysis, ETS
Environmental & Associates has made the following findings:
1 . During the course of sampling, ground water was
encountered at the following ( - designates below
mean sea level ) elevations:
G 1-16-92
C MW-1 -56 . 24 feet
MW-2 -56 . 34 feet
MW-3 -56 .25 feet
2 . Utilizing the above noted ground water elevations,
the gradient direction calculated for January 16,
IS 1992 lies in a northwest direction.
3 . Also by utilization of the above noted information,
the current slope of the ground water beneath the
site was calculated to be 0.001 ft/ft on January 16,
1992 .
4 . Laboratory analysis for the water samples collected
from the three wells in January displayed measurable
amounts of gasoline contamination.
Table 1
GROUNDWATER SAMPLE ANALYSES 08-26-91
(Results in Parts Per Billion)
Sample TPH- Ethyl-
Location Gasoline Benzene Toluene Benzene Xylenes
1 MW-1 7 , 600 3 , 900 1,700 8 .9 440
MW-2 130 26 1 . 5 ND 0.77
MW--3 630 36 49 2 .2 230
ND = None Detected For Specific Constituent Tested
1
