U-Haul#709-50 <br /> Preliminary Site Conceptual Model Blaes Environmental <br /> December 15,2006 <br /> 91 gallon capacity waste-oil tank The fuel USTs were onentated approximately east-west and located in the area <br /> labeled"Former UST Location"(Figure 3) Upon removal, the tanks were not replaced <br /> According to ETS, analytical results of soil samples collected from beneath the former USTs and <br /> associated product lines indicated detectable concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons Based on results <br /> of soil samples collected during removal of the USTs, the hydrocarbon release areas included (1) the UST <br /> area and (2) the product piping areas (Figure 3) Laboratory analytical results from UST removal <br /> activities are included as Table 1 <br /> 2 6 SENSITIVE RECEPTORS WITHIN 500 FEET <br /> Sensitive receptors located within 500 feet of the site are listed below The neighboring properties to the <br /> site are shown on Figure 2 <br /> Domestic wells used to supply water for Precision Fence Company located immediately south of <br /> Frontier Motel (approximately 400 and 450 feet south of the farmer UST's on the U-Haul site), <br /> and <br /> Residential neighborhoods - located approximately 300 feet east and southeast (immediately south <br /> of the Harry's Auto property) of the site <br /> Previous water supply well surveys conducted in the site area include Ground Zero Analyses' (GZA) <br /> February 2001 water well database and field check, Blaes Environmental's May 2003 water well database <br /> search, and GZA's December 2003 physical survey Supporting documentation for the above research was <br /> presented in GZA's "Monitoring Well Installation and 4L' Quarter Groundwater Sampling Report, Former <br /> Harry's Auto Mart, 2662 North Wilson Way, Stockton, CA (Site Code 1306)", dated March 12, 2004 <br /> The results of Blaes Environmental's May 2003 water well database search are included in Appendix A <br /> Other sensitive receptors may include unregistered local production wells or waters of the United States It <br /> appears that neighboring properties to the south and east of the site Iie outside of the City of Stockton <br /> boundary These unincorporated parts of San Joaquin County appear to rely on domestic wells from the <br /> local aquifer No active surface water bodies, natural or man-made, are present within a %4-mile radius of <br /> the subject site <br /> Page 4 <br />
