Former Electro Delta Page 2
821 South Wilson Way January 28, 2008
Stockton, CA 95205
recommendation. The installation of one SVE well and one observation well in the vadoze zone
of the former UST location would be adequate for performing an SVE pilot test.
The Report also recommends installation of additional monitoring wells at the site. By letter
dated February 1, 2006, EHD concurred with installation of a shallow screened monitoring well
as well as a deeper screened monitoring well in hydrogeologic unit 3 identified in the October
2005 site assessment report. These wells should be placed down-gradient of the former UST
area between B6 and CPT3 locations. In addition, a shallow screened monitoring well should
be placed south to southeast of MW3 to investigate the lateral extent of the groundwater
contamination found in MW3.
A work plan for the installation of an SVE well, observation well and additional monitoring wells
and performance of a vapor extraction pilot test should be submitted to the EHD by March 10,
2008.
If you have any questions, please contact Margaret Lagorio, Program Coordinator, at (209)
468-3449.
Margarf etagorio, RE Nuel Henderson, PG
Program Coordinator Engineering Geologist
ML/nh
cc: Mr. James Barton, CVRWQCB, 11020 Sun Center Drive #200, Rancho Cordova,
CA, 95670
Mr. Chris Miller, Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc., 837 Shaw Road, CA 95215
LOFM21 S WILSON WAYAd
