(AGE), on your behalf for the above-referenced site. In Site Assessment Work Plan-Second Quarter 2014 (WP), AGE proposes to advance a total of four borings to collect soil and grab groundwater samples to define the lateral extent of hydrocarbon impacted soil and the shallow dissolved hydrocarbon plume east of the monitoring well MW-5. In the WP, the proposed scope of work includes: • Obtaining applicable site assessment permits from EHD and preparing a site- specific Health and Safety Plan; • Drilling and Collecting soil and grab groundwater samples for laboratory analysis by advancing a total of four (4) soil borings to a depth of 40 feet below surface grade (bsg), or until groundwater is encountered; soil samples will be collected from one of the borings at five-foot intervals and grap groundwater samples will be collected from each soil boring; • Collecting soil and groundwater samples for chemical analysis for the following constituents: total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME), methyl-tert-butyl-ether (MTBE), 1,2- dibromoethane (EDB), and 1,2-dichlorethane (1,2-DCA) by a California- certified laboratory; and • Submitting of a report of findings following the initial field work and receipt of all chemical analytical results; report will be reviewed and signed by a California Professional Geologist and formatted to Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board requirements; The EHD tentatively approves the WP submitted by AGE, contingent on successful completion of the following EHD requirements: • Notify EHD 48 hours prior to conducting all field work;
