(AGE).
In the CAP, AGE recommends that the on-site air-sparging and soil vapor extraction systems be
utilized to remediate the remaining hydrocarbon impact to saturated soil and shallow zone
dissolved hydrocarbon impact at the site. AGE further developed a final remediation plan (FRP)
for the site to include remediation implementation activities consisting of the following tasks:
• Permitting and pre-field activities;
• Drilling and installation of two additional air sparging wells and one vapor recovery well;
• Installation of above ground piping to remediation wells;
• Monitoring and maintenance;
• Preparation of reports.
The EHD concurs with the CAP and final remediation plan for the site. The EHD is required to
conduct a 30-day public participation period to receive comments from the public regarding the
CAP. When public participation period ends and all public concerns have been adequately
addressed, the EHD will approve the CAP and permit applications will be processed by the EHD
for the installation of the air-sparge and vapor recovery wells. If you have any questions please
contact Lisa Medina at (209) 468-3455 or by email at Imedina@sjcehd.com.
—Lisa /Medina, REH§ Nuel C.
