INTRODUCTION <br /> ' At the request of Mr Victor Aranda,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> ' Additional Site Assessment Report for the property located at 821 South Wilson Way, Stockton, <br /> California (site) The scope of work included the advancement of three cone penetrometer testing <br /> (CPT) borings, submission of analytical data to the State Water Resources Control Board's <br /> GeoTracker information management system, and preparation of this report The site and <br /> surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1 Structures, soil borings, and monitoring well locations <br /> are illustrated on Figure 2 Additional site background information is provided in Appendix A <br /> ' Field work was conducted in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) <br /> sites Cone penetrometer testing procedures are outlined in the AGE-prepared Additional Site <br /> Assessment Work Plan, dated 19 May 2005 <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> , . On 22 and 23 August 2005, three soil borings (CPT-1 through CPT-3) were advanced on- and off- <br /> site(Figure 2)utilizing CPT technology At each boring location,lithologic data was collected from <br /> an initial CPT sounding, immediately adjacent to the sounding, twin borings were advanced to <br /> collect soil and grab ground water samples from selected depths <br /> ' 2 1 ADVANCEMENT OF CPT BORINGS <br /> ' The CPT investigation utilized a25-ton,truck-mounted CPT drill rig equipped with 2-inch diameter <br /> hollow-stem rods A hydraulic ram was utilized to advance a piezocone (cone penetrometer with <br /> pore pressure measurement)attached to the hollow-stem rod assembly to the total depth of each soil <br /> ' boring, a piezocone illustration is provided in Appendix B <br /> ' • Soil boring CPT-1 was advanced to a total depth of 100 feet below surface grade(bsg)in the <br /> Frontage Road right-of-way, approximately 20 feet east of monitoring well MW-3, <br /> • Soil boring CPT-2 was advanced to a total depth of 100 feet bsg in the Frontage Road right- <br /> of-way, approximately 25 feet south of monitoring well MW-2, and <br /> • Soil boring CPT-3 was advanced to a total depth of 100 feet bsg on the southeast corner of <br /> the property's fenced lot, near the north end of the former UST excavation area (Figure 2) <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmen tat,Inc <br />
