1 ,
15 November 2005
• AGE-NC Project No 02-0926
wells MW-1 and MW-3 at concentrations of 11 µg/1 and 93 µg/l,respectively A concentration map
' depicting the approximate distribution of dissolved 1,2-DCA is depicted on Figure 4 No other target
analytes were detected at or above laboratory detection limits in the ground water samples analyzed
' Analytical results of ground water samples are summarized in Table 2 The laboratory report(CTEL
Project No CT214-0507144), quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) report, and chain of
' custody forms are included in Appendix C Documents confirming the upload of laboratory
electronic deliverable format (EDF) files and depth to water measurements to GeoTracker are
included in Appendix D
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on data collected at the site, AGE concludes
• Depth to ground water at the site averaged approximately 41 55 feet bsg on 22 July 2005
• Ground water elevation in the monitored area ranged from 22 09 feet to 23 34 feet below
' . MSL Flow direction was inferred to be toward the north under a gradient of approximately
0 018 ft/ft
• TPH-g and BTEX were detected in the ground water sample collected from monitoring well
' MW-3 at concentrations of 270 micrograms per liter (µg/]), 10 µg/1 benzene, 3 2 µg/l
toluene,3 7 µg/1 ethylbenzene, 112 µg/1 xylenes 1,2-DCA was detected in the ground water
samples collected from wells MW-1 and MW-3 at concentrations of 11 µgd and 93 µg/1,
respectively
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings recounted in this report, AGE recommends
• Continuation of quarterly ground water monitoring events, the fourth quarter 2005 sampling
event was performed in October 2005, the first-quarter 2006 event will be scheduled for
February 2006
' Installation of a shallow ground water monitoring well within the former UST location to
demonstrate the contaminate concentration trend at the petroleum release
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
 1
