' 30 May 2005
i AGE-NC Project No 02-0926
1 <
A concentration map depicting the approximate distribution of dissolved 1,2-DCA is depicted on
' Figure 4.No other target analytes were detected at or above laboratory detection limits in the ground
water samples analyzed
Analytical results of ground water samples are summarized in Table 2 The laboratory report(CTEL
Project No CT214-0501098), quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) report, and chain of
' custody forms are, included in Appendix C Documents confirming the upload of laboratory
electronic deliverable format (EDF) files and depth to water measurements to GeoTracker are
included in Appendix D
4.0. SUNIlVIARY AND CONCLUSIONS
' Based on data collected at the site, AGE concludes
• Depth to ground water at the site averaged approximately 43 85 feet bsg on 19 January 2005
• Ground water elevation in the monitored area ranged from 24 43 feet to 25 66 feet below
' • MSL Flow direction was inferred to be toward the northeast under a gradient of
approximately 0 021 ft/ft
• TPH-g, benzene, toluene, ethyl-benzene and xylenes were detected in the ground water
' sample collected from monitoring well MW-3 at concentrations of 350 micrograms per liter
(µg11), 3 1 µg/1, 9 1 µg/l, 5 2 µg11, and 50 µg/l, respectively 1,2-DCA was detected in the
ground water samples collected from wells MW-1 and MW-3 at concentrations of 7 1 µg/1
and 32 µg/1; respectively
1
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
' Based on the findings recounted in this report, AGE recommends
• Continuation of quarterly ground water monitoring events, the next scheduled ground water
monitoring event is in July 2005
1
' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
