Used Oil Tank <br /> Containment Integrity Report <br /> For <br /> HMT Inspection <br /> Tracy Express Carwash & Lube <br /> Tracy, CA January 17,2019 <br /> Pae 12 of 34 <br /> EVALUATION FOR CCR COMPLIANCE — USED OIL STORAGE TANK (CONT'D.) <br /> SUMMARY OF CA DTSC EVALUATION PER TITLE 22 CCR, Part 66265.191 <br /> (CONT'D.): <br /> (k)(7) Details of installation include carbon steel construction with <br /> suitable containment details surrounding the tank. This tank rests <br /> on a concrete slab of adequate design to withstand the loads <br /> imposed by the tank resting on top with concrete containment <br /> surrounding the area; <br /> (k)(8) The non-RCRA liquid waste stream into this tank is not <br /> treated and is only stored in the tank until off-site recycling is <br /> arranged (approximately every 15 days per pick-up or when the <br /> tank is full — per client and truck movement manifests); <br /> (k)(9) The condition of the tank currently indicates no structural <br /> integrity issues (no excessive settlement, no measurable metal loss <br /> from corrosion). There are no construction defects or installation <br /> issues that would lead to possible leak from this tank in the near <br /> future; <br /> (k)(9) The tank is constructed of carbon steel materials compatible <br /> with the stored product and is resistant to any corrosive effects <br /> without the need for internal lining; <br /> (k)(11) The estimated service life of the tank is greater than 5 years <br /> based on the current condition, after which a recommended <br /> remaining service life can be re-established following periodic re- <br /> inspection and updated thickness readings; <br /> Pursuant to 22 CCR §66265.193, the Used Oil Storage Tank complies with <br /> the requirements for secondary containment details as outlined in this <br /> regulation; <br /> Pursuant to 22 CCR §66265.194 the connections are visually monitored by <br /> system operating personnel when the tank is in use; <br /> Pursuant to 22 CCR §66265.194, the Used Oil Storage Tank fill process is <br /> controlled manually with the use of a pump and inspected visually.
