Wilson Way
Stockton, CA 95205
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed this site for
the annual update of the Low Threat Closure Policy (LTCP) and Path to Closure Plan
(PTCP), reviewable on GeoTracker, the database maintained online by the California State
Water Resources Control Board (CSWRCB). During the review process, the EHD identified
items that still need to be addressed in accordance with the PTCP. These items are as
follows:
• A conceptual site model (CSM) that assesses the nature, extent, and mobility is not
yet complete; the CSM submitted by Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc, (AGE), on
your behalf for the above mentioned site did not address the issue of dissolved
MTBE impacting the 102 S. Wilson Way site and extending to Eugenia Street.
Please submit a professional opinion on the extent and distribution of the MTBE
impact on 102 S. Wilson Way site.
• The health hazard/risk posed by petroleum vapor intrusion to indoor air at this site,
must still be evaluated. Please submit a professional opinion, based on current site
data and characteristics of site, as to the health hazard/risk.
• The health hazard/risk posed by direct contact and outdoor air exposure at this site
still must be evaluated. Please submit a report providing a professional opinion such
based on site data and characteristics of site, or a work plan to obtain data needed
to form such an opinion.
• The site is currently under active groundwater extraction (GWE) remediation. EHD
directs that GWE remediation continue to operate until the current technology is no
longer cost-effective, contaminant concentrations have declined and stabilize at
levels sufficient to pass the LTCP criteria, or you are directed otherwise.
Please contact Angelica Sandoval Marin at (209) 468-2807 or amarin@sjcehd.com if you
have any questions.
Sincerely,
tel✓ / .Gscz._--.
Angelica . arin, REHS Nuel C.
