Wilson Way
Stockton, CA
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed Soil Vapor and
Groundwater Remediation Report Second Quarter 2013 (Report), dated August 26, 2013,
submitted on your behalf by Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc., (AGE). In the Report, AGE
recommends performance of a soil vapor extraction (SVE) rebound response test due to low
extracted TPH-g concentrations and daily extraction rates currently encountered at the site. In
addition, AGE recommends:
1) Suspension of the SVE operation for 90 days then resampling to confirm that no spike in
TPH-g concentrations has occurred;
2) Continued operation of the groundwater extraction treatment (GWET) interim
remediation system using on-site wells EW-1, VW-1 C, VW-2A and VW-3A;
3) Continued collection and analysis of monthly remediation grab groundwater samples
from the influent, GAC-1 and effluent ports.
The EHD approves the SVE rebound response test, suspension of the SVE operation, the
resampling event, continued operation of the GWET, and continued collection and analysis of
remediation grab groundwater samples.
If you have any questions please contact Lisa Medina at (209) 468-3455 or by email at
ImedinatD,.sicehd.com.
Lisa Medina, REHS Nuel C.
