(AGE), and has the
following comments.
The Report documents groundwater remediation activities that were conducted at the
above subject site during the third quarter of 2011. In the report AGE recommends
changing the influent sampling site from the dedicated port located downgradient of the
influent holding tank to collecting individual samples directly from the extraction wells
(EW-1, VW-1C, VW-2A and VW-3C). The purpose of this would be to evaluate the
concentration of contaminants coming from each specific sampling point to determine if a
reconfiguration of the system would benefit the overall effectiveness of the project.
The EHD approves a one-month change in the influent sampling locations. Additionally,
EHD notes the progress towards reinstating the soil vapor extraction system operation to
the remedial efforts at this contaminated site.
If you have any questions please contact Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337 or
Iduncan@sicehd com.
Lori Duncan, REHS
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist Nuel C.
