A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, <br /> store, dispose of,transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go <br /> to the DTSC web site hftps://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/to reactivate the ID number. <br /> Immediately reactivate your ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> -Two red new motor oil tanks were observed with saturated oily absorbent underneath both tanks. Per facility staff, <br /> the spill was probably due to the drained oil filters. A rag was observed wrapped around an appurtenance on the <br /> top of the eastern most tank. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon of new oil, one red and one black metal 55 gallon drums were observed with oil spills on <br /> the top of the drums. <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire,explosion, or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air,soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately fix any tank <br /> leaks, and clean-up the oil/oily absorbent and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a <br /> statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> One red and one black metal 55 gallon drums of used oil were observed with faded, unreadable hazardous waste <br /> labels. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition(contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> One black metal 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters was observed open and without a lid. Used oil filters shall <br /> be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,"and <br /> marked with an accumulation start date.
